BREAKAWAY CABLE CLEVIS TYPE
Breakaway cable with clevis type attachment. Commonly found on Knott couplings. It is a requirement that braked trailers are fitted with a breakaway cable. This cable will apply the hand brake if for any reason the trailer becomes detached during towing. This cable should be regularly inspected and replaced if any defects are visible.
